INTRODUCING POLLY POCKET
Do you suffer from the embarrassment of NDS (No Dog Syndrome) and fantasise about playing fetch for hours on end? When you are home alone do you often hear a phantom high pitch 'Squeak!' and break down in tears when you remember you don't have a dog, and there is no one around to squeak squeakers at you? Do you and your family make trips to the local park and hear murmurs from people as they shuffle away 'shhhh don't talk to them, they just come here to pat everyone else dogs...'
Well we have the remedy to your horrific NDS! A tiny 10 month old pocket rocket who is willing and ready to give you canine medicine in the form of couch snuggles, daily walks, endless games of fetch, face kisses, an adorable snoot, all the boops, and everything done with a helicopter tail to show you just how much she loves you and loves life!
Polly Pocket is such a quick learner and a real smarty pants. Since coming into care she has thrived and grown from the scared, blank canvas puppy who was scared of her own shadow into a spritely little girl who loves cuddles and affection. Polly really needs someone to help her learn and grow and needs a family that will take her to dog obedience classes so she can practice dog interactions and meeting nice strangers in a controlled environment. Polly loves to learn and is so pleased with herself when she gets things right, she will really blossom with formal training, and her little helicopter tail and big smile will show it!
Polly is great with the right dogs and cats. She adores cats, loves them! She thinks they are fun to lick and tries to get them to play, but can be a bit over the top with cats who don't stand up to her. She is learning all about dog social skills and still has a bit to learn but is fantastic with dogs that are cruisey and non reactive. She can be a bit jealous of dogs stealing her attention but is quickly learning to wait her turn for cuddles.
Polly needs an active home, one that will provide her with daily walks and toy time. She loves treat balls and food puzzles, she likes to be mentally active as well as physically active. Polly would be a fantastic best buddy for older kids, she's very loyal and very affectionate and would fit in nicely with a family with kids to smother her with attention. Polly also likes fetch, a lot, so she needs a family who doesn't mind the house being covered in toys and balls for her to squeak and throw around and bring to you to throw! She's so much fun!
If you think you can help this tiny princess thrive by providing her with formal group training, plenty of exercise, an abundance of cuddles and make her the number one in your heart she will repay you with endless loyalty and love. So stop suffering through NDS and apply now! Playing fetch by yourself is no fun, it's also weird, but don't worry, Polly can fix you!
