Carol is your typical staffy puppy - she is energetic, playful, loyal, incredibly cute and over flowing with love!
Carol is a well mannered little girl, she is quiet and loves spending time outside running around the garden with her brother. She loves cuddles and belly rubs and makes cute little snorty noises like a little pig when you pat all the right spots. Carol happily sleeps with her brother during the night and isn't needy or demanding of human attention which is pretty unique for a staffy pup of her age. Other than cuddles, Carols two big loves are toys, and food! She will do anything for a tasty treat and is very easy to train. She sits on command, waits patiently for her dinner, knows not to jump on people and waits at doorways without barging through. She is very eager to please and loves to be told she's a 'good girl'.
Carol is very attached to her brother and thoroughly enjoys his company, but takes a submisive role in the relationship. She is VERY excitable around other dogs however, and she does need work on how to appropriately greet others. She looooooves cats, but cats aren't really a fan of her, she has no boundaries when it comes to cats and is very insistent they must be sat on and licked all over! Carol needs to go to a home that will attend puppy school to help her with her confidence levels and social skills, if you do not have any plans to take her to puppy school, and then further formal training when older, please do not apply.
Carol is lead trained, she loves going for strolls in her carers quiet neighbourhood. She is a bit timid in new situations, and finds cars a little bit scarey right now when she's on walks, but with more positive exposure and an older dog to lead the way she will quickly grow out of this.
Carol would love to go to a home with another dog that will take her under her wing. Someone who will play with her and let her snuggle up to them. Having another dog around to show her the ropes will really help her with her confidence
Carol is still getting the hang of toilet training, after all she is a puppy so her new family need to be patient and willing to help her be the best dog ever! Puppies are a lot of responsibility, they require a lot of supervision, a lot of training, and will make a lot of mess so her new family have to be 100% committed to the job.
If you are after a new best friend with a great personality who is filled with love and intelligence, understand the needs of the staffy breed and are committed to training and socialisation please apply via this link - DOG ADOPTION APPLICATION
